We hope that this site in some way can assist you. If you have a suggestion or
request, please address them to your District representative on the Executive
the OHSAA monthly meeting, the Board voted on two
proposals from your OHSGCA. On the use of
range finders the board voted unanimously 8-0 in
favor of the proposal. On the coaching rule
the President broke the 4-4 tie to make it 5-4 in
favor of the coaching rule. The board
made it clear that they hoped these changes would
speed up the play of golf in our interscholastic
events. Please let the coaches in your
districts know of these new rule changes and that
we as coaches need to be aware of the pace of play
rule that exists. Remember in a nine hole
event a player is to play their round in 2 hours
and 15 minutes and in an 18 hole event the player
is to complete the round in 4 hours and 30
the new rule changes in their entirety here
